HOSHANGABAD : Devotees have started reaching the ‘Satpura Ki Rani’ and ‘Shiv Ki Nagri’ which are the other names of Pachmari in Hoshangabad district on the occasion of Nagpanchmi. On Friday, almost 10,000 people arrived at Nagdwari, they did  darshan and worship of God Shiva, from Monday their numbers will rise. This Mela will be go on up to August 7 and it is estimated that almost five lakh devotees will be coming there. The administration is making all arrangements. Village Kajri has been divided into 5 sectors, 450 policemen, 93 foresters and 177 kotwars have been posted here since it is mountaineous region. A temporary health centre has been made at village Kajri in which a health team of 10 doctors including ambulance have been arranged. A temporary helipad has also been made for any casualty at Rori Ghat.

Collector Sanket Bhondwe inspected the amenities which have been provided for the devotees like food, drinking water, security, light, toilet, cleanliness, tent and medical facilities. Additional SP Shashank Garg, women and child development officer Gautam Adhikari, assistant commissioner excise IS Jamod including revenue, forest, health, PHE, home guards and the other officers of concerned department were also present with him. Collector gave instructions and directions to the officers about the arrangements here.
